“Free the West Memphis Three.” Maybe you’ve heard the phrase. But do you know why their story is so alarming? Do you know the facts?
The guilty verdicts handed out to three Arkansas teens in a horrific capital murder case were popular in their home state — even upheld on appeal. But after two HBO documentaries called attention to the witch-hunt atmosphere at the trials, artists and other supporters raised concerns about the accompanying lack of evid… More >>

They are satanists and they are murderers. They did it. This book is satanist-friendly; that is the only reason why the author says they are innocent. If these 3 were Christians, and they were actually innocent, this same author would ask that their heads be impaled on a spear and placed in front of the Wal-Mart in West Memphis.

Anyone can write a book today. Ever see those books on “revisionist” history that claim there was no holocaust … on Amazon? I could write a book on sponge bob square pants being the sole gunman in the assassination of Jack “Lefty” Kennedy. And I would get all these great reviews and people who will say how great the book is. But I’ll know it’s BS and some other halfway smart readers will know too.

I know one of the victim’s grandparent. You should see what he uncovered working with the law enforcement agencies around here.

It is truly shameful how this book steers the reader into believing these 3 satanists are innocent. It’s total BS. Remember all that liberal barking that those poor convicted communists were innocent and that they were being abused by the terrible American government. Remember Hiss, the Rosenburgs, etc.??? Come to find out they were all guilty as h*ll. Thanks to declassified documents uncovered in Russia. Ever hear about that???? NO?? This is somewhat the same situation. The boys will be found at some point (beyond a shadow of a doubt) to have done the murders. And this author will be mute on the issue. Probably too busy (the author) fighting to save the Rudas. Ever hear of them??? They’re psycho-satanists also. Look it up it’s on the internet. This happened in Germany. Did you know they all follow the same very destructive patterns?

Think people! Don’t be spoon-fed crap. And remember these were extremely horrible acts done to our young kids!!!

So what happens with these people die lol? All this money and “help” will have died in vain as will the three in jail trying to prove their innocence. You know, the amount of tax money funding these organization to help these people is probably a waste also. . . I mean come on. . . It isn’t like they if freed from jail are going to go out and do great things (Cure cancer, stop war ((which would be a bad thing)) or any of that stuff.) Seems like a BIG waste of time and money to free these poor poor 3 people from jail.

If I had a dollar for every incorrect fact Leveritt wrote about Byers, then I could probably take us all out to dinner on it. It’s such a shame that she speculated to cast more doubt and seemed to intentionally try to cast the victims’ families and Officers in a bad light while trying to make the three convicted child molesting murderers seem like choir boys. It’s such a shame that one who is referred to as a journalist fell quite short in the correct information part of that job description. A lot more legwork and a little less baseless insinuation might work in her favor next time, should there be a next time.

Having seen both Paradise Lost and its sequel, Revelations, I hoped that this book would offer something new– preferably something that hadn’t already been made abundantly clear in both documentaries. But in this book, we just get the same old agenda– an effort to ‘prove’ the innocence of the West Memphis Three, and not-so-veiled implications of John Mark Byers. Yawn. It’s too bad that this case inspires so much bleeding-heart chest-thumping that it’s nearly impossible to get an objective account of the case.

  5. I have viewed Paradise Lost and PL2 and knew there had to be something left out to convict these individuals. I found it in this book, even though the author has an obvious bias in her reporting of the facts. Jessie Misskelly, after being convicted, and prior to the Echols and Baldwin trial, admitted during conversations with the prosecutors that the three had killed the young boys. The author tries to portray the confession as being in violation of his rights, but he still VOLUNTARILY made the confession to the prosecutors and the transporting officers AFTER Misskelly was sentenced and sent to state prison. Misskelly said he, Echols, Baldwin had been drinking and smoking dope when the boys were surprized and murdered. Mark Byers, the police investigation, and the black guy bleeding at the restaurant are all attempts to remove the guilt from these three idiots. There are six wasted lives and three won’t breathe again. It’s too bad these three in prison are wasting good air. They all deserve the death penalty. Thank you for giving me the information I needed to feel good about their convictions. I wouldn’t lose any sleep over any of them being hooked up and fried.
