This book had out of date terms (no FINRA) and wasn’t organized in an easy to absorb way. That said, I passed on the fist take so I guess it worked.

Practice tests have poorly worded, confusing questions where the answers contradict the text. Misspellings and poor grammar lead me to believe that it may have been written by someone who doesn’t speak good English and/or the proofreaders have done a very poor job. I have studied a number of other texts for securities exams and this is by far the worst I’ve encountered.

While this may sound unnecessarily picky, I was amazed by the ridiculously high number of typos in this book (spelling, punctuation, etc.). Because it appeared that the book had not been proofread at all, it gives me some doubt as to whether the information contained in the book is really accurate. I didn’t find any inaccuracies in the content, but then I’m not sure I’m really in a position to comment on that. Overall, I thought the book was reasonably helpful, although not particularly well-organized. If you use the book, make sure you go through the review questions at the end of every chapter, because the answers often contain information that wasn’t in the chapter itself.

This book has a lot of material repeating from one chapter to the other and then it lacks important information that you do need in the exam. Based on this fact, I would not recommend this product.
